Empty (ver 4) by Metric Tuning: DBEGBE (Drop D tuning with the 4th and 5th strings tuned up one whole step) The tuning is strange, but I'm almost certain this is how it is played on the album and live (to get the notes to ring out in the same way). It also happens to be a lot easier to play. You can figure out the song structure (and how to play noisy solo) by yourself. The main thing I wanted to correct was all the tabs that either don't hit the right notes in the intro/verse and make the part harder than it needs to be. But there are two ways of doing it all on the guitar. One way is awkward (a huge stretch from the 6th to the 5th string), the other doesn't sound right (alternating the notes on the 5th string). The simplified version shifts the notes on the 10th and 12th frets to the 1st and 3rd frets on the next string up).
